Theresa Lesson

As Development Manager, Theresa helps ensure successful execution of MDH’s development strategy by overseeing various aspects of the pre-development and construction phases.

Theresa joined MDH as a Development Associate in 2021, primarily focused on underwriting and presenting new development opportunities to the investment committee.  Before joining MDH, Theresa served as an Asset Manager Associate for a national low-income housing tax credit developer and syndicator, where she managed a diverse portfolio of properties across the U.S., focusing on optimizing profitability and cash flow. Earlier in her career, Theresa gained institutional real estate experience at Longbrook Capital Partners and C-III Capital Partners. At Longbrook, she held the role of Asset Manager Associate, overseeing acquisitions and dispositions, conducting detailed market analyses, running underwriting models and proformas, and supporting asset transactions and transitions.

She attended Texas Tech University where she earned a BBA in Finance from the Rawls College of Business with Magna Cum Laude honors. Theresa also passed Level 1 of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Exam.
