Nicole Kimes, CPA

Nicole joined MDH Partners in March 2019 and oversees accounting for the fund, corporate, and development entities, as well as financial reporting to investors and lenders.  She also ensures compliance with joint venture agreements, financial covenants, and REIT requirements. 

Prior to joining MDH, Nicole held Director of Real Estate Transactions and Director of Accounting Compliance roles at Cortland.  She led accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, syndications and refinances in accordance with GAAP and also managed compliance reporting for REITs and debt financial covenants.  Nicole previously was a Fund Accounting Manager at State Street, where she handled monthly and quarterly reporting for a diversified core real estate fund managed by Morgan Stanley.  She also oversaw reporting to external parties such as potential investors and NCREIF.  Nicole’s earlier career was extensive in the real estate industry, including property operations accounting, CAM reconciliations, budgeting, cash management and audit. 

Nicole is an actively registered CPA and holds a BS in Accounting from Southern University and A&M College.
