Michael Pelt
Vice Chairman
Michael is Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of MDH Partners and provides strategic guidance as a member of the company’s Investment Committee.
In 2010-11, he advised Blackstone on its due diligence of 20 million square feet, of properties that were part of its assemblage of IndCor and then asset managed these properties until Blackstone formed the new company.
From 1999 to 2005, Michael was the Chief Investment Officer and President of the Office Division of M.D. Hodges. He directed the development of that company’s 416-acre mixed-use office park, Huntcrest, and was responsible for the development and sale of 340 acres of office, retail and residential land.
Prior to joining Hodges, Michael was Vice President of Marketing and Development for Technology Park/Atlanta where he oversaw marketing and development of a large mixed-use office development in Buckhead called Lenox Park. He began his career as a consultant with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Michael is a former President of the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP and former instructor for the CCIM Institute. He is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia. Michael holds a BBA degree from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University.
