Kate Kilgore

Kate leads all asset management activities throughout the MDH portfolio, spanning 35 million square feet across 30 markets. In addition to leading MDH’s asset management team, she manages the JV relationships for adaptive mixed-use redevelopments and JVs with large global institutions. 

Kate has over 18 years of industrial experience, and most recently served as a Principal at Ares Real Estate (who purchased Black Creek Group), where she focused on industrial asset management across eight major markets and previously was Senior Vice President for Black Creek Group, where she oversaw the asset management and leasing for the company’s southeast region.  

Kate opened Black Creek’s Atlanta office and built strong broker and tenant relationships while partnering with the acquisitions and development teams to grow the region’s footprint. In addition to her responsibilities for the southeast region, Kate helped lead the efforts to establish operational and leasing best practices across the industrial platform nationally, working with stakeholders in various departments to create efficiencies and standardize processes. During her tenure at Black Creek, Kate executed over 250 lease transactions and oversaw over 55 million square feet of industrial product. Previously, she worked at Seefried Industrial Properties, where she oversaw third-party property management for the Atlanta market. Kate started her career at Colliers International, where she was promoted to Senior Property Manager and led the property and construction management functions for industrial assets on behalf of institutional clients.  

Kate holds a B.A. in History from Sewanee: The University of the South. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in Georgia.
