As Senior Managing Director of Acquisitions, Joe Leverages His Market Knowledge and Relationships to Identify Strategic Acquisitions for the Firm Across the Southeastern United States.
Joe joined MDH Partners as an acquisitions associate in July 2014 to focus on sourcing, analyzing and underwriting new acquisition opportunities. During this period, Joe was instrumental in the acquisition of 6M SF totaling $205 million at which point Joe transitioned to Head of Asset Management in 2015. Over the next 3 years, the firm’s portfolio grew to 14 million SF across 106 buildings in 15 cities. Under Joe’s leadership, MDH created an institutional-grade operating and leasing platform. At the beginning of 2019 and concurrent with MDH raising its first fund, Joe began focusing exclusively on the acquisition of existing assets. Joe currently leads the sourcing and execution of acquisition efforts in the southeastern United States, where between 2019 – 2021 the team has closed on 7MM SF with gross value in excess of $500 million.
Prior to MDH, Joe worked with the Office and Industrial Investment Sales team at Colliers International in Atlanta for three years in which his team consulted with owners on the repositioning of assets coming out of the recession and ultimately represented these owners in the disposition assets across the southeast totaling $250 million. Joe began his career as a Research Analyst with GVA Advantis.
Joe earned his BA in Economics and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from Emory University with a concentration in finance and real estate. Joe is an active member of NAIOP’s Georgia chapter and NAIOP National Forums.
