Vice President, Acquisitions

Houston leads MDH’s acquisition efforts in the Northeast, Midwest, and select Western markets.  Houston joined MDH in 2017 as a member of the asset management team, where he primarily focused on the leasing and management of 3 million SF in Georgia, Florida, and the Carolinas.

With the advent of MDH’s first fund, he moved into the role of Acquisitions Associate, where he underwrote all new acquisitions. Upon launching MDH’s second fund in 2021 Houston stepped into an acquisition leadership role with a focus on Midwestern and Northeastern markets.  In this capacity, he has closed over $300 million in new transactions and spearheaded MDH’s entry into 6 new states.

Prior to joining MDH, Houston worked in enterprise sales and partnerships for several Silicon Valley startups.

Houston is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina. Houston is a member of NAIOP’s Georgia Chapter as well as its national Developing Leaders program.
