Arun Singh, CFA

Arun oversees the company’s accounting, finance, and financings. He is also responsible for company administration, operations, ESG, reporting, and strategy.

Since Arun joined MDH in 2020, the company has more than doubled their assets under management and expanded the portfolio by more than 15 million square feet. The company has completed 25 financings exceeding $2.2 billion dollars, expanded into seven new states, and has doubled the size of the organization. He is one of the three voting investment committee members, and participates in all investment activities, including acquisitions, leasing, and financings. Additionally, Arun spends substantial time on the strategic redevelopment of Lee + White in West End, Atlanta and created their ESG policy.

Prior to joining MDH, Arun was a Vice President at MetLife Real Estate and leader of the southeast commercial mortgage platform, managing an $8 billion loan portfolio and originating more than $2 billion of annual loan originations. During Arun’s tenure at MetLife, he also was a global voting Investment Committee member for all of MetLife’s new commercial mortgages as the Head of Credit, Underwriting and New Products. Previous to MetLife, Arun’s real estate career also included experience at Google and BP Oil.

Arun earned a BSBA in Real Estate from The Ohio State University, a MS in Real Estate, Finance and Investments from New York University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Arun currently serves on The Ohio State Fisher College of Business Alumni Board.

Arun won Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business’s Professional Achievement Award in 2021, which is presented to an alumna or alumnus under age 45 who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in business, civic involvement and service to the college. In October 2021, Arun was also named to Globe St’s Top 50 under 40 which highlights top professionals in the commercial real estate sector who are under 40 years old.
