Theresa Lesson

Theresa joined MDH in November 2021 as a Development Associate. In this position, she underwrites new development opportunities, assists in their completion, oversees all loan draws, and generates investment committee memos to present new projects to the executive team of MDH. 

Prior to joining MDH, Theresa was an Asset Manager and Analyst for a low-income housing tax credit developer and tax credit syndicator. In her role, she oversaw a portfolio of properties located across the nation, with a primary focus on managing and maximizing profit and cash flow. Theresa also has institutional-level real estate experience working at Longbrook Capital Partners and C-III Capital Partners earlier in her career. At Longbrook, Theresa was a Real Estate Associate and oversaw acquisitions and dispositions, created detailed market surveys, performed underwriting proformas and models, and assisted in all asset transactions and transitions. 

She attended Texas Tech University where she earned a BBA in Finance from the Rawls College of Business with Magna Cum Laude honors. Theresa also passed Level 1 of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Exam.
